It’s perfecting the little things, down to the last detail, that sometimes makes a difference in how productive, efficient and enjoyable an endeavor can be. For example, take the lowly lens cleaning cloth. One of the problems in using these “micro-fiber” wonders is that it’s often too easy to slip off the material and end up fingerprinting the very lens you’re trying to clean.
There is a better solution, silicone dots on one side of the cloth. One side for cleaning and the other side textured in such a manner as to avoid slipping. An added benefit is that you use the cleaning side exclusively for cleaning. Check it out here, you might be pleasantly surprised. (btw – I only recommend what I use and believe in – I am not affiliated with this company.)
